Legacy Ag Group has built its business on a unique foundation of three pillars: Agriculture Experience, Business Experience and Proven Processes. The details for these three pillars can be found on our Legacy Brand page. The benefits of the three pillars are substantial. Our agriculture and business experience is combined with an established software system and structured management procedures and techniques. Our processes are all well documented and easy to understand and use. So, whether you are a Buyer looking for the right property, a Seller needing to showcase and market a property or a Land Owner needing some specialized consulting or management support, the three pillars can be used collaboratively by you and our team to deliver the primary benefit: success.
In addition to the three pillars, the Legacy brand includes the following core operating commitments that are the cement holding these pillars together. We work very hard to:
- Understand the customer’s perspective
- Do the proper research to lay the groundwork for wise decisions
- Keep all of our efforts focused and manage that focus as complications arise
- Utilize a “team” approach in all efforts
- Take full advantage of technology and industry advancements
Legacy Leadership Team
Jodie Rapp
Jodie Rapp grew up in the agriculture business as part of the fourth generation of a Texas Panhandle farming and ranching family. He knows and loves the agriculture industry and has been involved as an owner in several agriculture businesses since 1979. He is an active member of many land and resource professional organizations. These associations enhance Legacy’s ability to provide quality services to its valued clients.
Jodie’s contributions to the organization involve much more than benefits from his agricultural background. He is also a highly skilled and experienced businessman. He has management and operating experience in other industries including: large-scale heavy engineering construction, construction management software systems, and privately held businesses – operating in both the commercial and government sectors of the domestic and international marketplaces. Jodie serves as President of Legacy Ag Group.
George Clift (11/12/1956 — 10/09/2022)
George Clift was a beloved leader whose impact on the agriculture and real estate industries is immeasurable. With over 30 years of experience in agriculture and a distinguished career as a Real Estate Broker since 1997, George shaped the legacy of Legacy Ag Group through his dedication, integrity, and vast expertise. His leadership began during his time at Oklahoma State University, where he was recognized as one of the Top 10 graduates in Agriculture, and continued throughout his remarkable career at Ralston Purina and in his own business. As Managing Broker of Legacy Ag Group, George was a trusted advisor and a source of wisdom for his colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his business achievements, George was deeply committed to the agricultural community. He served as President of the Realtor’s Land Institute and was actively involved with several industry organizations, including the Texas Cattle Feeders Association. His professional accomplishments were a testament to his exceptional skills and his commitment to excellence. George earned the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, one of only 500 Realtors in the U.S. to do so, and his knowledge in areas like livestock management, financial analysis, and land brokerage made him an invaluable resource to all who had the privilege of working with him. George Clift will always be remembered for his leadership, his character, and the lasting impact he made on the agriculture and real estate communities.
